I joined a team to run the Beach to Bay, a six-person marathon run in Corpus Christi, Texas. Each person ran a distance of 3 miles to 5 miles. There were six legs of the run, and I was the first leg, which was on the beach--thus the name "Beach to Bay." There were 8,000 runners this year. I've run the first leg already three times, so it was fairly uneventful for me to get … [Read more...] about Dead Last: A Chance to Catch Up

Walking Through Quick Sand
"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart" (Galatians 6.9 NKJV). There are some seasons that literally every day feels like walking through quicksand. Waking up is difficult. Working is difficult. Thinking is difficult. Doing daily tasks is difficult. And not to mention trying to fulfill our God-given destiny … [Read more...] about Walking Through Quick Sand
Finding Freedom from Familiar Spirits
A familiar spirit or otherwise known as a familiar stronghold is a way of thinking that does not line up with God’s Word. People do not recognize that their thinking is wrong because they are accustomed to it. Mainly, they were raised with parent(s) or in an atmosphere that normalized this incorrect thinking. Therefore, their negative thoughts continue to dictate their … [Read more...] about Finding Freedom from Familiar Spirits

I recite the Priestly Prayer over me and my family. This prayer was given to Moses by God to speak over Aaron and his sons who were ordained as priests to … [Read more...] about MY QUIET TIME PART 2: FAITH SOAKING SEASON 2 EPISODE 2
The Violent Take it by Force
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11.12 NKJV). Before Jesus says the above quote, He had been talking about John the Baptist to the crowds. John was not a “reed shaken in the wind” who was “wearing soft clothing” (Matthew 11.7-8 NKJV). He was not a push-over or people pleaser. … [Read more...] about The Violent Take it by Force
Tucking into the Spirit: How to Have Authority Over the Enemy’s Attacks
“The LORD God said to the serpent: ‘Because you have done this, you are cursed above all livestock, and above every beast of the field; you will go on your belly, and you will eat dust all the days of your life’” (Genesis 3:14 MEV) (Emphasis added). Humanity is made up of the dust of the earth and the breath of God (Genesis 2:7). In essence, we are made up of three parts: … [Read more...] about Tucking into the Spirit: How to Have Authority Over the Enemy’s Attacks
