Hi Friends, I wanted to invite you today to listen in to Day 1 of Christmas Communion. It is such a wonderful way to savor the Savior this season. We can do it any day, any time of the year, really! But today, I invite you to lean in and listen.
We can choose thankful hearts and notice the work of God. It is in our realm to do! But then to sit down and REFLECT on what He has done again on Christmas day, to partake of communion with your family.
It is a rich time of reflection and a beautiful way to focus on the reason we celebrate Jesus’ birth every year.
From Day 9: Whether we believe it or not, there is an innate desire to know and be known by our Creator. God has planted Heaven in our DNA, and there is no escaping it (Ecclesiastes 3:11). People are looking for value and meaning, and when they are not discovered, they will try to distract themselves with lesser, fleeting things of this Earth. Jesus calls Himself the Bread of Life, which is the only God-given nourishment that will satisfy our hunger for meaning and purpose.

Even though December has started, I believe you will be blessed to even spend a few days up to Christmas day going through the reading and joy activity. Then on Christmas day, you can take communion together. IT IS JUST SO SPECIAL!
